A SEWING WORKSHOP
Spend a day together with friends and family at our workshop, learning to sew or sewing clothes or gifts for a birthday, anniversary, baby shower, or bridal shower. Or just to celebrate friendship and the joy of being together with friends and loved ones doing something fun and creative! Coffee and locally made croissants, are included as are lunch and a wine or champagne reception at the end of the event, to toast to the special occasion.
Accommodation at the Cottage is available and can be combined with a cooking class and 3-course dinner.

BABY SHOWERS
Friends and family of an expecting mother spend a day together, with her, making baby clothes, ending the day with a reception toasting the parents-to-be and preparing them for the next steps firmly connected to those who love them.
$150/person, includes tea, coffee and croissants, lunch, and champagne reception, sewing instruction, all patterns and fabric pre-cut, sewing machines and tools.
Maximum of 5 people. Accommodation at the Inn is available and can be combined with a cooking class and 3-course dinner afterwards.
BRIDAL SHOWERS
Friends and family of an bride-to-be spend a day together, with her, making lingerie, ending the day with a reception toasting the couple-to-be and preparing them for the next steps firmly connected to those who love them.
$150/person, includes tea, coffee, and croissants, lunch, and champagne reception, sewing instruction, all patterns and fabric pre-cut, sewing machines and tools.
Maximum of 5 people.

COSTUME MAKING LESSONS
Supporting the local children’s Shakespeare theater company, Morning Star Theatre Productions, we teach 8-14 year old actors and actresses to make their own costumes, in which they perform. All classes include equipment and materials to complete the costume, including pattern, fabric, thread, trims, buttons, elastic and zippers.
Last year, Summer of 2019, 9 children made and wore their costumes in a production of Shakespeare’s A Comedy of Errors. This year, the productions are on hold but once its possible again they are planning to perform Shakespeare’s The Tempest and Much Ado About Nothing.
Sewing sessions run for 2 hours and cost $20/person for a maximum of 4 participants per class.
